TV Advert

In May 2007 we recorded the first TV advert in the Society's history. Based on a very simple idea that mirrors a classic Bob Dylan video from the 60's, Rosie Exon our Loughborough branch Office Supervisor stars in the advert and she did a great job of it despite understandable nerves. We wanted to get across in a stylish and concise manner that we offer a vast array of products and services that some people may not be aware of. From Buy to Let mortgages to Children's Savings Accounts - we really can cater for the majority of financial requirements that you may have.

The background to the advert is filmed in the Loughborough town centre and clearly shows the entrance to the Carillon shopping centre. Coincidently the first airing of the advert was within the Carillon on 18th June as part of a local business exhibition that ran for the whole week. The event was a big success and many new and existing members have mentioned seeing the advert and enjoying it. The showing in the Carillon is just the start though and plans are being put in place to advertise the Society at The Reel Cinema in Loughborough later this year and also on Central and Satellite TV.

Ensuring a greater exposure of your Society, to potential new members, is of great importance to the future growth of The Loughborough and TV/Cinema advertising is a great way to achieve this. Consideration was given to ensuring that costs were kept down to a minimum whilst achieving a quality finish and we can happily say that this was achieved. TV/Cinema advertising has historically been very expensive as ITV and C4 had a monopoly on opportunities. However with the advent of Satellite television and C5 costs have tumbled down to a very reasonable level. Not only this, you can now specify which geographical areas you wish to concentrate on. All these developments have given your Society the opportunity to enter this exciting and far reaching media and we hope you are pleased with the final results.
